Through a mutual collaboration, I help clients find their strengths and positive qualities to enhance skill development for coping and the healing process. I believe each individual has unique concerns, strengths, and values to explore and build upon to create change and promote health, wellness, and transformation for long-term goals.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and a National Certified Counselor. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University, a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston-Victoria, and a Doctor of Professional Counseling from Mississippi College.
I have over 25 years of experience working in the mental health field. My work experience includes private practice, counseling families for ECI KeepPace, an early intervention program in Houston, supervision of family service workers, working with domestic violence and sexual assault survivors in various settings, counselor for the Kitsap County Mental Health Center in Bremerton, WA, and psychiatric facility in Metairie, LA.
